Starbucks stores in the United States and Canada are offering a delightful new espresso beverage, the Cloud Macchiato.

Starbucks Cloud Macchiato beverages begin with whipped cold milk foam, a hint of vanilla syrup, followed by bold espresso, and finally topped with a crosshatch of caramel drizzle. The Starbucks Cloud Macchiato’s meringue texture comes from an egg white powder and whipped cold milk foam. While the Cloud Macchiato’s cold milk foam can be customized using coconutmilk, almond milk or soy milk the egg powder cannot be removed. Starbucks openly handles several allergens throughout our store, including dairy, soy, tree nuts, eggs, wheat and other allergens, additionally beverages and foods are prepared using shared equipment. We want to provide our customers with the information they need so that they can make an informed choice.
