Charity Luiskutty, MPA, PA-C

Charity Luiskutty is a nationally certified physician assistant whose clinical career spans more than two decades across emergency medicine, cardiology, oncology, and most recently allergy, asthma, and immunology, with a special interest in food allergies. She completed her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia, in 2002 and began a career grounded in broad clinical training and a deep commitment to patient care.

While her early professional years were shaped by work across multiple medical specialties, Charity’s true passion emerged closer to home: her three children navigated food allergies and allergic conditions throughout childhood. That lived experience profoundly reshaped her clinical focus, strengthening her dedication to improving education, access, and outcomes for individuals at risk for anaphylaxis.

For more than a decade, Charity has been a leader in the food allergy community, helping to guide a highly engaged food allergy support group in coastal Virginia since 2011. Through this work, she has supported countless families, partnered with schools and healthcare providers, and helped bridge the gap between clinical guidance and the realities of daily life with food allergies. As both a clinician and a parent, she brings a uniquely informed and deeply compassionate perspective to education and advocacy efforts.

As FAACT’s Vice President of Medical Education, Charity leads the development and strategic direction of evidence-based educational initiatives for healthcare professionals, patients, families, and community stakeholders. Her work centers on advancing accurate anaphylaxis recognition, timely and confident epinephrine use, and practical education that empowers individuals to live fully—without unnecessary fear or limitation—while improving safety and outcomes across all settings.
