Food Allergies in the City
Food Allergies in the City
A four-part microdrama series created in partnership with Genentech and Novartis
Food allergies can shape everyday decisions in more ways than just around mealtime. Food Allergies in the City was developed in collaboration with the food allergy community and draws directly from the real-life experiences and stories of individuals navigating their food allergies alongside relationships, routines, and social plans. The participants featured in the series are not actors—they are young adults living with food allergies, and their perspectives helped shape the story.
Set against the backdrop of a night out in New York City, the series highlights the extra layers of thought, preparation, and self-advocacy required when safely managing food allergies.
