FAACT Guidelines in Place Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic

Based on the recommendations of FAACT’s Medical Advisory Board, all Camp TAG campers, teen counselors, parents/caregivers, and staff must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (including any and all available boosters) at least two weeks prior to the beginning of camp. These guidelines are non-negotiable.

  • Proof of vaccination (scanned vaccination cards) must be submitted with your Camp TAG registration and medical forms, and proof of any additional boosters should be emailed once received.
    • Camp TAG will comply with the requirements of each host camp and individual state and local Covid-19 requirements as well.
  • We anticipate being able to offer Family Day in person in 2022 for fully vaccinated parents/caregivers and registered campers/teen counselors.
  • FAACT will continue to work with our medical advisory board; monitor federal, state, and local guidelines; and update our policies for each camp location as needed.

For those unable to attend in person, we will offer a Virtual Camp TAG for one week (July 18-22) to help kids and teens connect.

As always, the health and safety of our campers, counselors, and staff are our utmost priority. We cannot wait for Camp TAG 2022!

Registration Application & Health Form

To register for Camp TAG Colorado, please download the camper application/health form, FAACT's Covid-19 waiver, and the Golden Bell Waiver. Please follow the instructions to submit the application/health form and make the registration payment. There are 50 camper spots available for 2022.

Email all completed forms to Eleanor.Garrow@FoodAllergyAwareness.org.

Deadline to register for Camp TAG CO will be Monday, June 20, 2022.

Volunteer Teen Counselor Positions Available

There are 10-15 volunteer teen counselor positions available for 2022, which will be an application process. This is the first year holding Camp TAG in Colorado, therefore, teen volunteer counselors will be decided upon the number of campers registered. Teens with food allergies, ages 14+, or a sibling of someone with a food allergy, ages 14+, may apply to become volunteer teen camp counselors. Camp TAG provides 1-3 counselors for every 5-9 children. We'd really like to see the teens apply for counselor positions because they can relate to the campers and act as mentors.

An activity fee of $75 is required for volunteer teen counselor positions. See below for Registration & Payment. Teens receive community services hours for their time, which averages about 35-40 hours for the week. Teen counselors will be notified once applications are reviewed, and the activity fee can be paid then.

Download the teen counselor/health form, FAACT's Covid-19 waiver, and the Golden Bell Waiver.

Email all completed forms to Eleanor.Garrow@FoodAllergyAwareness.org

Deadline to send in the volunteer teen counselor application is June 20, 2022.
