Dr. Manisha Relan is a board-certified pediatrician and allergist/clinical immunologist. She is currently in private practice in the Capital Region of New York but maintains an active social media presence focused on educating parents about allergies, particularly reducing the risk of developing food allergies. Her areas of interest and publications in fellowship included anaphylaxis and food allergy. She is a contributor to an infant solid-food feeding program and has co-authored three books, including “Baby Leads the Way,” which she developed with the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Relan is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics; American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology; and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. She is active on several committees for these organizations. She received both her undergraduate degree in Nutrition and Food Sciences with Honors and her medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
