New Seasons Market is recalling 193 jars of New Seasons Market Hot & Sour Broth because it contains undeclared soy. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to soy run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

The Hot & Sour Broth was distributed to all New Seasons Market stores in Oregon and Washington from 10/08/18 to 10/20/18.

No illness or injury reports have been received to date.

The recall was initiated after it was discovered that the broth containing soy was distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of soy. The product contains Tamari sauce, which is made from soy beans. This recall is being made with the knowledge of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
