The safety and wellbeing of our consumers is Mars Wrigley’s number one priority. M&M'S® encourages consumers with peanut allergies to read the labels associated with any M&M’S® products. In particular, we encourage consumers to make sure to select the intended M&M’S® Minis product, as we now have two varieties of M&M’S® Minis: the original Milk Chocolate variety, and the new Peanut Butter variety. As reflected on the product labels (shown below), M&M'S® Minis Peanut Butter Chocolate Candies (sold with a red label) "contains peanuts, milk and soy", while M&M'S® Minis Milk Chocolate Candies (sold with a blue label) “contains milk and soy” and has a "may contain peanuts” allergen advisory statement. As always, please remember to read the product label for up-to-date allergy information. 

We continue to raise awareness that for the first time there is a new variety of Minis: Peanut Butter M&M’S® Minis. The Peanut Butter M&M’S® Minis will always have a red label, whereas the Milk Chocolate M&M’S® Minis will always have a blue label. As shown below, in prior packaging, the Peanut Butter M&M’S® Minis used the red label on tubes of various colors (and the Milk Chocolate variety used the blue label on tubes of various colors). As also shown below, in the new packaging, the Peanut Butter M&M’S® Minis will only have the red label on red-colored tubes along with the words “peanut butter” labeled on a clear tamper proof wrapper. In the new packaging, M&M’S® Milk Chocolate Minis will only be sold with blue labels on blue-colored tubes. As always, please remember to read the product label.
